DESERT THE WARFARE STATE
Stop the genocide, Free Palestine.
365 days of genocide of the Palestinian people. 42 thousand people killed, of which 17 thousand children. 92 thousand injured. 80% of Gazan infrastructure destroyed. 19 hospitals leveled and the rest only partially in service. 150 journalists murdered. 743 deaths in occupied West Bank. And then 76 years of apartheid, colonialism and Nakba. By the hand of the zionist entity, which some call Isreal, with the complicity of the West.
Stop global war.
A year after the Genocide, the global war front is expanding, in front of the glaring eyes of everyone on the planet. The same directors are expanding the war in Lebanon and Yemen. In Lebanon over 2000 deaths and 6000 injured just in the last two weeks, and military aggression by a third-party state went live on the world stage without any reaction while in Yemen and Syria the bombardments continue increasing the number of killed. And then Congo, Sudan and every other silent or silenced war.

The world is in a state of war. “We” are at war, because “our” governments finance and legitimize the expanding genocide.
The warfare state is not just foreign policy, but domestic policy as well. “Warfare created the State, and the State created Warfare“. This is the axiom that modern states have applied since their very inception. Until now, this is applied with the redefinition of institutional, economic and social assets to make them fit for combat. It’s the economy that orients itself toward weapons, cutting down on social policies more than ever. This is why the warfare state requires a security law proposal, which militarily ensures internal cohesion and national unity ahead of the poverty and abandonment which awaits us.
For a free and universal citizenship
The warfare state is not just a deadly or violent state, but also, and most of all, a state which is a cage for imagination and alternatives. But the alternatives are there, alive and rebellious. It is proven by the disobedience to protest bans, to the criminalization of rescue at sea, the construction of rebellious and solidary communities which grow in the margins, in abandoned buildings and districts. Our most evident attempt to quantify this are the over 500.000 signatures that were collected in just a few days. The battle for citizenship, for us, is not just a battle for a piece of paper. It is the affermation of the idea of a world without wars or borders. It is the affermation of a model of society, built on rights. Winning the referendum will only be a small step for a mixed, queer and antifascist “us”.
