Today in Milan thousands of students demonstrated in the streets of Milan the same day in which the Renzi’s goverment of austerity discuessed the umpteenth mortal punch at the pubblic education: the reform named la buona scuola (the good school). “Our #buonascuola? Anti-racist, solidal, free and with high quality” was the claim of the main banner.

The future that they have designed for our generation is made of precarity and exploitation, in empty cities without souls. We do not agree! For this today at the ending of the demo we occupied a building right in the center of Milan, in front to the Italian Exchange.

This building in via Meravigli at the crossing with via Camperio, like other hundreds of dwellings in the city, is empty since 1998 (some of us were not even born!), in the mean while a lot of people in Milan don’t have a home and a income.

We hanged out of the building some banners of international solidarity:

#fuckausterity #fuckEuroTower let’s make our #ALTEREXPO”
To remember that in these days is held in Cannes the Mipim, the exposition of the real estate and the useless major building infrastructures, and towards the mobilitations against the BCE austerity that will see in the next week an european meeting at Frankfurt during the inauguration of the Euro Tower.

“Ofelia Nieto vive la lucha sigue, contra especulacion y austerity #GlobalAnswer”
In solidarity to the fights of Ofelia Nieto 29, in defense of the family expropriated from his own home, that has been destroyed under the process of speculation and gentification of the city.

Solidarity to all the movements that fight for different cities besides the “showcase” model that the neoliberism wants to impose, for the liveable cities in witch the citizens have spaces and the possibility of self-determine themselfs.

The day continues with debates about the recent “Jobs Act” and a hip hop jam dedicated to Dax, killed in 2003 by the neofascists, music and concerts. Join us!

Aujourd’hui à Milan, des centaines d’étudiants ont manifesté dans les rues au moment où le gouvernement Renzi, celui de l’austerité
prépare encore une fois une loi mortelle pour l’éducation nationale publique nommée “la buona scuola”. Pour nous la bonne école est métisse, solidaire, gratuite et de qualité voici notre slogan pour cette manifestation.

Le futur qui a été décidé pour notre génération n’est autre que précarité et exploitation, dans des villes vides et sans ame… nous n’en voulons pas! C’est pour cela qu’aujourd’hui, à la fin de la manifestation, nous avons décidé d’occuper un immeuble en plein centre ville, à coté de la bourse, au coeur du quartier financier de Milan et du pays: à l’abordage de la ville vitrine!

L’immeuble de la rue Meravigli à l’angle de la rue Camperio, tout comme des centaines d’autres endroits en ville, est vide depuis 1998
(certains d’entre nous n’etaient meme pas encore nés!), alors meme que des milliers de personnes n’ont ni logement ni salaire.

Durant l’après midi ont eu lieu des assemblées,des échanges, nous avons repeint les lieux et suspendu des dizaines de banderoles:

Pour rappeler qu’en ce moment meme est en train de se dérouler le MIPIM à Cannes, le salon du real estate et des grands projets urbains inutiles, nous portons notre soutien aux manifestations européennes contre l’austerité de la BCE qui auront lieu la semaine prochaine à Francfort pendant l’inauguration de l’Euro Tower.

En solidarité à la lutte pour Ofelia Nieto 29, pour la défense de la famille qui a été expropriée du propre logement, qui a été déruite,
cela afin de pouvoir spéculer sur l’immobilier et procéder toujours plus aux processus de gentrification des villes.

Solidarité à tous les mouvements qui luttent pour des villes différentes du modèle “vitrine” que le néoliberalisme veut nous imposer,
pour des villes vivables où les habitants et les citoyens puissent avoir accès aux espaces et aux possibilités d’autodetermination.

La journée et la soirée continuent avec des sons jam hip hop, des assemblées dédiées aussi à Dax, assassiné en 2003 par des neofascistes, mais aussi et toujours de la musique, des grillades et des concerts. Rejoignez nous!

Oggi a Milano migliaia di studenti hanno manifestato per le strade della città proprio nel giorno in cui il governo dell’austerity di Renzi discute l’ennesimo colpo mortale per l’istruzione pubblica. “La nostra #buonascuola? meticcia, solidale, gratuita e di qualità” diceva lo striscione.

Il futuro che hanno designato per la nostra generazione è fatto di precarietà e sfruttamento, in città vuote e senz’anima. Noi non ci stiamo! Per questo oggi al termine della manifestazione abbiamo occupato un palazzo in pieno centro a Milano, a pochi metri dalla Borsa, cuore finanziario della città e del paese: all’arrembaggio della città vetrina!

L’edificio di via Meravigli ang. via Camperio, come centinaia di altri stabili in città, è sfitto dal 1998 (alcuni di noi non erano ancora nati!), mentre molte persone a Milano non hanno casa e reddito.

Nel pomeriggio si sono svolte assemblee, abbiamo ridipinto muri e appeso striscioni.

Per ricordare che proprio in questi giorni si svolge a Cannes il Mipim, la fiera del real estate e delle grandi opere inutili,
e verso le mobilitazioni contro l’austerity della BCE che vedranno settimana prossima un appuntamento europeo a Francoforte durante l’inaugurazione dell’Euro Tower.

In solidarietà alla lotta per Ofelia Nieto 29, in difendesa della famiglia che è stata espropriata della casa,
che è stata distrutta, a causa dei processi di speculazione e gentificazione della città.

Solidarietà a tutti i movimenti che lottano per delle città differenti dal modello “vetrina” che il neoliberismo
ci vuole imporre, per città vivibili in cui gli abitanti abbiano spazi e la possibilità di autodeterminarsi.

La giornata prosegue con jam hip hop dedicate a Dax, ucciso nel 2003 da neofascisti, musica e concerti. Raggiungeteci!
